On Monday Lucy and Monique, the libraians from Panmure Library came to visit us . Lucy and Monique dressed up as book characters. Lucy was Alice from the book Alice in wonderland.She wore a beautiful white dress. We thought she was Goldilocks because her hair looked like Goldilocks hair. Monique dressed up like Captain hook, a mean pirate from Peter Pan. She wore a black pirate hat and carried a sword.Both the librarians took turns reading us stories about an elephant, a lemon tree, monsters and a dog who couldn't bark.
When Lucy read her second book she chose some kids to act as characters.The stories were interesting and we enjoyed taking part as characters in the story.They also spoke to the kids about Book Week. This week is Book Week at our school and we are going to dress up like our favourite characters on Friday. My favourite story was about the dog who couldn't bark.I liked it because it's a funny story.
